Beastmaster of the Ages Chapter 3131 - Eminent Tiankui

Chapter 3131 - Eminent Tiankui

After some time, Tianming arrived at the stareye of Antiquitas Mortis. It wasn’t a popular destination, so there were few others above the stareye. Most of them were fortuna and maniverse disciples.

He stood in the corner and activated the stareye to transport him back to the Myriadpath Celestial Formation. There were many more people at that travel hub. Right as Tianming returned, the Yin Chens that had been left in Myriadpath Valley awakened from their dormant state.

I wonder how badly Reverend Daolie was beaten up.... Right as that thought occurred to him, quite a number of disciples bowed in the same direction.

"Greetings, Eminent! Greetings, Reverend!"

Tianming turned back with a start and saw two Myriadpath Valley elites arriving at the Myriadpath Celestial Formation from their astralship. The reverend that stood in the middle of the group looked like Huang Daolie. His nose was green and face was swollen. Hair unkempt, his expression was one of grief mixed with flattery for the person of higher status he was seeing. He slightly bowed down as he followed behind the eminent.

"So that’s Eminent Tiankui?" Tianming felt quite taken aback at first sight. It was the first eminent of Myriadpath Valley that he had seen. He was a skyghoul specter with an even higher astron density than Reverend Daolie, yet he was twice his height as well. He really stood out among the crowd.

Eminent Tiankui was clad in a grand crimson robe with wide sleeves. His figure was burly and powerful, and his hairstyle exploded in every direction. The swaying hair made it look like there was a flame burning around his head.

His face clearly looked like a skyghoul’s, especially with the visible green fangs and red eyes that made him resemble an asura. His nostrils seemed like two flaming volcanoes out of which crimson puffs of hot air emerged.

Most shocking was the big hole above his chest, within which was a crimson eye that seemed to be half a meter wide. The eye emanated a crimson light and spun around nonstop. Even Tianming, who was only gazed at for the slightest moment when the eye swept past, felt that he had almost been seen through.

It was fortunate that he hadnt appeared near the eminent. Even if the eminent normally wouldn’t care about a small figure like him, perhaps he wouldn’t mind lifting a hand to help Reverend Daolie exterminate Tianming should he ask for aid. Then again, someone with Eminent Tiankui’s status most likely wouldn’t care about Lan Yun’s protests, or even be affected by them in the first place.

Then again, it’s possible that Eminent Tiankui is already mad at me for some reason and would kill me just to vent. Tianming immediately adopted a low profile and greeted him with a fist-palm salute.

"Eminent! It’s true! Those folks in Antiquitas Mortis are all fools! I am so frustrated!" Seeing how much Huang Daolie was complaining, it was clear to see how badly he had been beaten up.

"You said that the one that robbed you heard who I am and still dared to take the Kilopath Net. Looks like the master he serves is of rather high stature," Eminent Tiankui said, glaring at the reverend.

"Eminent, I have doubts about that. He mightve just been making things up! If you personally show up, youll no doubt be able to teach those short-sighted animals of Antiquitas Mortis a lesson they’ll never forget!"

"Stay away from me, you useless piece of shit! You’re the shame of us skyghouls!" Eminent Tiankui kicked Reverend Daolie away and activated the Myriadpath Celestial Formation. His terrifying physique disintegrated before everyone’s eyes as he was transported away, leaving the entire formation trembling in his wake. It was harder to transport someone the stronger they were.

"Wait for me, Eminent!" Reverend Daolie didn’t dare to let Eminent Tiankui go alone and activated the formation as well. "Curse that Zhangsan Shiye!"

Once they left, Tianming breathed a sigh of relief. He hurriedly got on the astralship shuttle that sent them back to Myriadpath Valley.

"Once Uncle Yong hears about Eminent Tiankui’s arrival, he should sneakily return the Kilopath Net to him in a way that won’t put him at any risk." As long as the stolen artifact was returned, Eminent Tiankui probably wouldn’t look too deeply into the matter.

The Xenoabyss wasn’t their territory, after all. Myriadpath Valley saw its residents as nothing more than uncivilized barbaric specters. And after this incident, the others from Myriadpath Valley would probably think twice before trading with those from the Xenoabyss.

"Among those in Myriadpath Valley, only House Huang is really out for me. With me gone, they’re probably wasting away with nothing better to do." Tianming had scattered quite a lot of Yin Chens in Myriadpath Valley, mainly in Grandblue Palace and Huang Palace.

Right as he got back, Lan Yun reached out to him through a transmission stone and said, "Come back!"

"Yes, Master." He had no choice but to go with his bossy master’s demands. When he reached Grandblue Palace, Lan Yun was sitting cross-legged on her throne, looking down at him and surrounded by frost.

"Where did you go?" she asked.

"I was on a mundus mission to earn some merit," Tianming said.

"Did you kill someone again?"

"Master, did someone come to Grandblue Palace to cause trouble?" he gingerly asked.

"Answer my question!" she snapped. Tianming felt that his entire body had frozen over.

"I killed four of my party members," he said.

"Reason."

"They looked down on me and mocked me."

"If you kill them just because they look down on you, does that mean you’ll kill everyone else in Myriadpath Valley since they do the same?"

"Of course not. Master, if you look down on me, I’ll do my best to prove myself and eventually gain your recognition."

"Enough with your good-disciple shtick." Lan Yun found herself more and more speechless.

"Master, did I cause a lot of trouble?" Tianming asked.

"It’s not too big of a deal. The parents of the two gold-ring disciples are normal myriadpath saints. I can’t be bothered with them." She pursed her lips and continued, "However, I believe that your reckless behavior will drag me to death along with you one day!"

Tianming hurriedly said, "Master, rest assured. Im no fool. Before I kill people, I make sure to ascertain their background. Anyone who has an eminent backing them is my close friend and sibling!"

"You? Anyone with that kind of backing will see you like a pile of dogshit. You won’t have a chance to even offend them, let alone kill them."

"Then it works out all the same. I won’t cause any big incident for you, Master," Tianming promised.

"Ill be troubled even if you only cause small incidents!"

"I know, I know. I will adopt a low profile as I go about my business."

"Hah. Right." Clearly, she didn’t believe him. She waved him away and said, "Go to Battlesky Hall to submit your mission results and head to the Grand Myriadpath Ruins to cultivate. At the very least, you won’t be able to cause trouble there."

"Understood!" With the Kilopath Net out of the equation, Tianming could move about as he pleased without needing to fear the Little Lion King. Lan Yun wouldn’t have to protect him all the time like before, so he quickly went on his way.

Lan Yun took a deep breath and shook her head. "What a rambunctious kid. After so long, I think I’ve started to care for him. Sigh...."

She looked down at her cold palms. Just then, a transmission stone rang and projected a bloody world above it. A hoarse voice could be heard on the other end that sounded like two pieces of wood rubbing together. "Junior Sister, come to me and lets chat."

"Yes!" Lan Yun froze and immediately let out cold sweat.
