Divine Emperor of Death Chapter 3915 The Celestial Transcendent Appears

Chapter 3915 The Celestial Transcendent Appears

After they left, Clara barely managed to make herself stand and moved towards Xiaolan, but she stopped when she saw the Celestial Transcendent also make his way towards Xiaolan.

"Little phoenix. You are a rash one, but you bought enough time for your master to survive this ordeal and perhaps even spared a calamity from exploding..."

The Celestial Transcendent picked up Xiaolan with his bare hands and caressed her head.

Xiaolan was in pain, but she shuddered as a wave of light energy flowed through her body. The next second, the pain was gone, and she blinked, looking at her feathers that were fully healed.

"You are...?" Clara’s gaze flickered.

She couldn’t tell if it was just ordinary light energy or light energy at the level of a Saint, but it seemed that it was enough to heal Xiaolan’s grave injury. She couldn’t help but feel thankful, but she didn’t let her guard down, especially since she could tell that this person seemed to be someone whom even the leader of this hunting party Autarch Elluro Coldwing seemed to give immense respect.

"Child, I’m the man you may publicly know as the Supreme One, in other words, the Celestial Transcendent. What do I have to hide? This entire Galaxy is named after my title."

"..."

Clara looked at this handsome young man who seemed to be no different than a young master from a wealthy family as he introduced himself proudly. His mannerisms lacked dignity, and the way he spoke towards her was too lenient, as though he was a fellow youth. Should she believe his words?

But if his words were true, wouldn’t that mean she was facing the strongest person in the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy?

Her head ached, feeling like she could faint anytime and forget about this whole fiasco.

Then, as though her entire body somehow relaxed, she fainted, falling down.

However, the Celestial Transcendent caught her from falling and placed her down on the bed. He patted Xiaolan on the head again.

"Take care of your master. I will go hunt her big brother along with the others."

"..."

Xiaolan was speechless. She couldn’t even comprehend what he was saying. However, her instincts as a magical beast told her that she absolutely couldn’t offend this man.

"Wait!" She called out to him, causing the Celestial Transcendent to come to a stop.

Xiaolan looked left and right, checking if anyone was there.

"No one’s here." The Celestial Transcendent assured her with a cheerful smile, "Say anything you want, little phoenix."

"..." Xiaolan blushed.

"You... you knew Myria was alive, so why didn’t you expose her to the world?"

"Oh? You know Little Myria?" The Celestial Transcendent displayed a bright smile, "That’s wonderful. As for your question, I chose to be on the side I feel is right until I can no longer be. You don’t need to fear me as long as you don’t stain your hands in irresponsible evil. Are we clear?"

"Yes..." Xiaolan slowly nodded as she trembled. For some reason, that sounded threatening instead. Still, she turned to look at Clara, "Please heal her. I suspect she may have a deep soul injury after resisting that bas- Autarch Elluro Coldwing’s mandate."

"Oh? She resisted such a thing?"

The Celestial Transcendent raised his brows, finally taking a second glance at Clara.

He was wondering why an apathetic and cold person like Elluro Coldwing would be intentionally manhandling a woman when his upbringing and ethics would dictate otherwise. It turned out that she was able to resist his mandates, which made him make a move to soulscour her. It might have also hurt his ruler’s pride.

Now, he had a full grasp of the story but not the foundation of what allowed Clara to resist Autarch Elluro Coldwing’s mandate.

"I am not good at healing soul injuries, but oh well I promised someone that I would take care of her."

The Celestial Transcendent shook his head, appearing like this was a drag, before he moved back to Clara and held her forehead, his thumb falling between her brows. He sent his investigative soul sense, exploring the oddities of her soul sea before he finally chanced upon her soul essence.

It was true that she was injured. He could see her soul’s essence practically spilling out in very minute amounts. Left like this, she might fall into a coma or would be lucky enough to heal her soul by herself. He could see that she had a strong Will from what had happened, and people with strong Will can practically Will themselves into returning from death in such cases.

"...!’

However, he was shocked to find something he didn’t expect to find!

Inside Clara’s soul essence, there was a strange blue sphere resonating with her physique. It pulsated, reacting to his senses, and oddly resisted him. However, it was vague and weak, unable to do anything against him. It could only obediently go silent, trying to stay still as though playing dead.

’Isn’t this... the Celestial Seed...?’

The Celestial Transcendent’s gaze shook.

"What is it...?" Xiaolan saw that it wasn’t good from how the Celestial Transcendent reacted. Her voice was worried, sounding like she was going to cry.

"No worries." The Celestial Transcendent waved his hand, "She could heal by herself as she has a strong Will, but since it would take too much time, I will help her heal. It shouldn’t take long."

"Really? Thank you so much~" Xiaolan excitedly screeched.

As long as Clara was in good health, she was satisfied no matter how hopeless the situation might be. But now, she could feel a sense of security by the Celestial Transcendent’s side. She only knew Myria respected this person, and now she could see why, although she couldn’t exactly tell for what reason she felt secure.

She guessed it must have been due to how bright he shined, his aura sacred and warm, and also how he healed her back to health.

The Celestial Transcendent began healing Clara. A few seconds later, he looked surprised at Clara and Xiaolan.

"The Transitory Beast Taming Pact? You share this magical beast pact with Little Clara? Great."

He didn’t even confirm with her and laughed as though he knew it for a fact, causing Xiaolan to blink before she nodded. She did indeed share a Transitory Beast Taming Pact with Clara after she left Ellia’s side.

"I created this technique billions of years ago. I thought it had faded into obscurity, but it is nice to see that it has even spread in that world. Don’t worry, little phoenix. You will also gain a good cultivation partner in the future, no matter the race."

The Celestial Transcendent warmly said, causing Xiaolan to blush.

A second later, the former returned his gaze to Clara, his expression still amused.

’Interesting. It seems that I’ve been too disobedient that the heavens plan to oust me eventually with this little girl...’

He couldn’t believe a new Celestial Seed had appeared.

As far as he knew, there were only eight Celestial Seeds, and all eight were distributed across the eight Galaxies. He had one manifest in him and, hence, was able to become the Celestial Transcendent. The same could be said for the seven other owners of Celestial Seed in the other seven Galaxies.

It was something that brought them extremely close to the heavens but, at the same time, allowed them to have free will, unlike the Heaven’s Warriors.

The fact that Clara possessed a Celestial Seed meant she was an heir to becoming the next Celestial Transcendent. All she had to do was prove herself further in whatever ways the heavens deemed, and he would eventually fall out of grace.

However, he couldn’t understand.

He wasn’t a Heaven’s Warrior back then. The Celestial Seed could appear in anyone’s soul. With that being the case, why was there a need for the Celestial Seed to appear in a Heaven’s Warrior that the heavens could already control?

Why was the heavens giving Clara free will? He was intrigued, wondering if this had something to do with her origin. After all, even he had never seen a little sister Heaven’s Warrior, and an elder brother Anarchic Divergent. This was confusing even to him, but that was all the more puzzle he needed to find this entire situation odd.

’There’s something more at stake here than an Anarchic Divergent...’

The Celestial Transcendent felt like grasping a hint of what was about to happen as he remembered World Master Davina Hyluan, her achievements, and her actions in the Primeval Universe Ruins.
