Chapter 2649 - Meng Ying’s Secret
"Why are two babies here? Wheres your parents? Call them out so that this Granddaddy can tear out their guts to tie a neat bow around them!" Wudi had taken a large gulp of Flameyellow Bloodsoul, like a drunkard trying to boost his courage. His bones seemed to burn in reaction to the swig as his courage ballooned.
The two infants merely glared at him before they exchanged glances. They set their sights on the coffin and found the gap separating the lid from the rest and placed their four tiny hands around the lid.
"Whatre you doing, you little crooks?!" Wudi smirked. He had guessed that the infants were Rex Mundi Meng Ying. The aura of such beings couldn’t easily be masked. Right after he said that, infinitum-class power surged toward the coffin, causing it to rumble and shake. Wudi was rammed against the sides nonstop.
"Come on, are you trying to bury me the moment I see you?!" He didn’t have any tears left to shed even if he wanted to. Fortunately, the coffin was powerful enough to remain shut. "Hah! My ancestors must’ve been worried about grave robbers. No wonder the seal is so secure! It’s protecting the Flameyellow Bloodsoul, after all."
Wudi did nothing and remained seated with his legs crossed, praying for his ancestors’ protection. "Heavens! Earth! Come and save me!"
Even so, he made sure to put up a calm front to reassure Tianming from time to time. The coffin began shaking more and more. When Wudi looked up again, he was shocked to see the changes on the infants’ bodies. The ephemeral world wonder appeared behind the female infant’s body, while countless eightpart apparitions appeared behind the male infant, their arms connected to his shoulders. They were using their divine wonders. The fact that they were trying to open the coffin while their ship was being attacked by all those flameyellow fiends and the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb was nothing short of impressive.
"Holy shit! Ancestors protect me! I don’t want to die! My precious daughter hasn’t even returned! Fuck!" Wudi was panicking and anxiously jumping around within the coffin. But still, the coffin didn’t budge in the slightest even though the faces of the infants turned green and purple from the effort.
"Is the Flameyellow Coffin really this impressive?" Wudi put his arms on his waist and began to curse at them. "Hey, you little shits! Where did you come from? Wheres your parents? Who taught you to rob graves like this? I, your granddaddy here, will come out and beat your asses! Hey, boy! Your fly is open! If you keep messing around, this Granddaddy will snip off your little pecker and cook it! Tsk tsk.... It isnt for me, of course, but for my son Tianming! And you, girl.... Whyre you so ugly? Give me a knife and I’ll fix you up right away. Your nose will look better higher up, and your eyes wider. How about increasing your bust, too? Oh, wait, Granddaddy is mistaken. A kid like you doesnt need knockers. Forget it, save the cosmetic surgery and buy some wine for your Granddaddy here."
His lips endlessly flapped on once he began. He knew that he wouldn’t be able to do anything against them anyway, so why not try verbally attacking them? Surprisingly, the two infants seemed livid at his insults.
"Oh? What’s that look? Are you holding in your piss? Don’t be afraid, this Granddaddy won’t bite! I might look rough but I’m not a bad guy. Don’t piss on the coffin! The water inside is for other young’uns to drink, especially my son, Tianming!" As Wudi mouthed on, he paid attention to his surroundings. The Dreamchild seemed rather empty, apart from some tens of millions of tanks not far away.
"Whatre those?" He looked closer at them. There were no people within those tanks, yet they seemed to be built for the purpose of holding ashes or remains. "Are they carrying their ancestral ashes? Wait, they should be astral gods. Where would they get any ashes from?"
The coffin rumbled more and more, and Wudi felt that it was hitting its limit. The two divine wonders were incredibly powerful and he had no idea how long this cosmic artifact could hold on. "Damn, it’s almost at its limit! What do I do? Mu He, Mu He, come save your husband in his time of need! Manifest yourself, why don’t you?"
Wudi put his hands together and almost knelt. As he did so, he noticed that a few of those tanks were broken. Something seemed to be hanging out of the tanks. "Whats that?"
He focused on it and was shocked to see the purple-black head of an infant. "A dead infant? Whyre there so many here? What kind of evil sorcery takes place here?"
His mind began wandering until he recalled an old foe of his: Emperor Qian! "That old fuck was so afraid of death that he used human souls to retain his power into old age.... As for the rex mundi of the divine wonderians, they should be older than Shenxi Xingtian! There’s no way they actually look like infants. Maybe they’re practicing some kind of evil technique that sacrifices infants to stay young! Fucking hell, how can I let animals like them live?!"
His eyes burned with rage as his heart skipped a few beats. "Fuck it, let’s bet on this!"
Doing nothing was no different from waiting for his death. He knew that the flameyellow fiends and Tianming were doing all they could to save him, but he had to save himself this time around. "Eat my brick!"
The reason he hadn’t moved the coffin at all was to keep those two in the same spot. In actuality, he could still move the coffin. The coffin lurched ahead with shocking force, much to the shock of the two infants, whod almost succeeded in prying the lid apart with all they had. The coffin shot away, shaking them off, then slammed into the tens of millions of tanks, breaking at least a million of them. Dead infants fell out of all of them.
"Hell, what kind of evil are those two enacting upon the world?!" Wudi exclaimed. Then he heard two heart-rending shrieks from behind him. He turned back and noticed that the two infants had suddenly aged. They looked like kids of around six to seven years old, but their hair seemed to be falling out and their eyes were pale white. Kids of that age should be filled with vigor, but Wudi spotted wrinkles on their faces.
